6pm Pasta
Serves 4
Time 15 minutes
Ingredients
400g pasta of your choice
200g butter
2 heaped tbsp chicken stock powder
Optional Topping
Grated parmesan
Chilli flakese
Cracked black pepper
Method
Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil and cook pasta until al dente
While the pasta is cooking, melt butter in a large frying pan and stir in the chicken stock powder.
When the pasta is cooked, using tongs or a large slotted spoon, drag pasta straight from the pot to the pan bringing some of the pasta water with you. This will help to emulsify the sauce.
Top pasta through well in the butter and serve!
To make it more grown-up - top with grated parmesan, chilli flakes and freshly cracked black pepper.
