Bambino Pizza

Serves 2

Time 1 hour

Ingredients

Dough mixture

2 cups warm water

1 (7g) yeast sachet

1 tsp caster sugar

5 cups plain flour

1 tbsp salt

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Toppings

Tomato passata

Kalamata olives

Fresh basil

Cherry tomatoes

Mozzarella

Parma ham

Method

Preheat oven to 220°C.

In a small bowl mix together warm water, yeast, flour and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes at room temperature until the yeast becomes foamy.

In a large bowl add flour, salt, extra virgin olive oil and the foamy yeast.

On a floured surface knead with your hands for 5-10 minutes until you have a smooth ball of dough.

Return to the bowl and cover with cling wrap. Keep in a warm spot for 20-30 minutes until the dough has doubled in size.

Place the dough back on a floured surface. Knead it with a little more flour to get rid of any stickiness.

Divide the dough into two equal parts and shape them into balls.

Roll them to desired thickness and place on greased pizza pans, use any excess to make rabbit ears.

Add the passata and desired toppings to make a rabbit face.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until cooked to your preference.
