Milk Chocolate Cookies

Serves 6

Time 40 minutes

Ingredients

⅓ cup cocoa powder sifted

⅔ cup all-purpose flour 

⅓ cup caster sugar

2 tbsp maple syrup

½ cup milk

½ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled 

200g extra creamy milk chocolate

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a tray with baking paper. 

Add flour, cocoa powder, sugar, maple syrup, milk, and butter to a large bowl. Use a spatula gently stir until it comes together as a creamy batter. 

Use the back of a spoon to break the chocolate into pieces, and fold it through the batter. 

Spoon the dough onto a lined baking tray, leaving a little room for them to expand in the oven. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes. 

Cool on the tray for 10-15 minutes before serving.
