Porridge with Manuka Honey

Serves 1-2

Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

½ cup rolled oats

1 ⅓ cup low-fat milk

¼ tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp of raw manuka honey 50+

1 tbsp roasted almonds, chopped

2 tbsp coconut flakes, toasted

Method

Warm milk in a pan before flavouring with cinnamon, and a teaspoon of manuka honey. Add the oats and gently simmer for 8-9 minutes on low heat or until soft. 

Once the oats are cooked place in a bowl and stir through another spoonful of the raw manuka honey. Top with almonds and coconut flakes.
