Stewed Apple

Serves 4

Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

5 large green apples, peeled, cored and chopped
2 tsp fresh ginger, microplaned
1/3 cup filtered water
1 orange, juiced
½ cinnamon stick

To serve
Coconut yoghurt
Nuts

Method

Simmer apples in a saucepan over low heat with all the other ingredients for around 20 minutes or until the apples have softened.
Serve with coconut yoghurt and nuts.
