Loaded Garlic Bread
Serves 6
Time 20 minutes
Ingredients
1 large crusty bread
2 whole garlic, confit in oil
8 slices ham
10 slices salami
1 block butter, unsalted
¼ parsley, chopped
100g mozzarella, ripped
50g parmesan, grated
Salt and pepper
Method
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Cut the bread on the diagonal creating diamond shapes but ensure you don’t cut all the way through the bread.
Take your warm confit garlic and place in mixing bowl with your softened butter, chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper. Mash all the ingredients together using a fork.
Spread the bread open so you add the garlic butter, followed by the mozzarella and parmesan.
Lastly insert the cured meats and then baste the top of the bread again with the remaining butter.
Bake in oven for about 15 minutes.
