Steamed Silken Tofu with Soy Sauce

Serves 2

Time 20 minutes

Ingredients

1 x (300g) block silken tofu

1 bunch broccolini 

For the sauce

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 

1-2cm knob ginger, microplaned

2 garlic cloves, microplaned

1 spring onion, chopped 

1 green chilli, finely diced

½ tsp sesame oil

2 tbsp soy sauce 

1 tbsp oyster sauce 

½ tsp molasses

½ tbsp black vinegar 

To serve

Black rice, steamed 

1 tbsp roasted peanuts, smashed 

1 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped 

Method

Steam the tofu and broccolini for 6-8 minutes. 

In a small saucepan heat olive oil, ginger, garlic, spring onion and green chilli. 

Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil and molasses and mix to combine. 

Remove tofu and broccolini from the steamer and serve on a plate. Drizzle sauce over steamed tofu and broccolini and serve with black rice, coriander and roasted peanuts.
